So I blame them

You know only of the false pretence you are given as love

Healthy relationship?

Sad because you don’t know what that is

So you sit there thinking you are grown and this is life

But the reality is, you have daddy issues

Money as opposed to security, disrespect as opposed to love

Your mother tells you this is life

Tied down in an unhealthy relationship

You become bored

Shimmer around the men you think can bring you entertainment

You get yourself in another argument

And that one day, he hits you

Bravo

You find the power to leave him

But you are all alone again

And so the cycle begins once more.
